SI Smart Homes has been installing smart-home systems for Southern Illinois families for years. Along the way, we talked to a lot of contractors, restaurant owners, salons, and shop owners — people running small businesses in towns like Carbondale, Marion, and Mt. Vernon.
Almost every one of them said the same thing: “We know we should be doing more on Facebook and Google, but the people who pitch us are from out of state and want $3,000 up front.”
